The Isolate Reactor Operator serves as a critical component of the BiPro department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of whey products. This role is dedicated to the operation, sanitation, and maintenance of isolate reactors and related equipment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to isolate protein products. The position requires a hands-on approach to regulating production factors such as solids, temperature, and pH, while maintaining rigorous adherence to food safety and quality standards.
In this fast-paced environment, you will manage the full lifecycle of reactor operations, from executing advanced startup and shutdown procedures to performing routine Clean-in-Place (CIP) cycles. A significant portion of the role involves meticulous monitoring of processes and materials, logging up to 50 variables per hour to ensure all set points are met. You will be responsible for troubleshooting machinery, identifying deviations in product flow, and performing operator-level maintenance to keep production running smoothly.
Beyond technical operations, the role demands strong documentation skills and a commitment to safety. You will adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and HACCP programs, ensuring all areas of the Protein Department are cleaned and sanitized according to the Master Sanitation schedule. As a team member, you may also be tasked with training new employees and acting as a Critical Control Point operator to uphold the plant's food safety plans.
