A-Line Staffing is currently recruiting for an Operator 2, Machine position in Cockeysville, MD. The position is a full-time, on-site contract role with a 40+ hour work week, offering the possibility of conversion to a permanent position based on attendance, performance, and business needs.
The Role
As an Operator 2, Machine, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting moderately complex and automated manufacturing equipment. Your day-to-day will involve controlling and adjusting machine settings, performing minor routine maintenance, and executing preventative maintenance tasks. You will also handle routine production activities such as filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspecting products.
In this GMP/FDA regulated environment, maintaining high standards of quality and safety is paramount. You will inspect in-process products, remove defective materials, and complete accurate documentation and logs for quality, safety, and maintenance purposes. Additionally, you will support root-cause analysis for process or product exceptions and ensure housekeeping standards are met while adhering to all site safety policies.
Schedule and Training
The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM. A mandatory one-week onboarding and training period is required, running Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime may be required based on business demand, and flexibility for extended hours is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

Requirements
