About the Role

The Operator Apprentice at Angelina Lumber is an entry-level role designed for those ready to build a career in a safe, rewarding environment. This position serves as the foundation for future growth, offering extensive on-the-job training and the opportunity to cross-train across various departments. You will be part of a team that values safety, quality, and productivity, working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

In this role, you will monitor lumber movement, ensure process efficiency, and perform essential maintenance tasks. You will have the chance to learn basic computer operating skills, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role is ideal for someone with a mechanical aptitude who is eager to learn and willing to take on responsibilities ranging from housekeeping to equipment servicing.
