About the Role
We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at our Luxury Retail location in Union Square, San Francisco. In this role, you will serve as a highly visible deterrent while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. You will be the first line of defense in protecting people and property, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Your day-to-day involves monitoring the site, conducting standardized reports on surveillance activity and incidents, and notifying supervisors of any irregularities or safety hazards. You will embody and promote company values, acting as a professional presence that enhances the safety and experience of our clients and their guests. This position is available as both full-time and part-time.
Hiring Process & Application
To join our team, eligible candidates must possess a valid Security Guard License, have successfully completed all state-mandated training, and have a minimum of one year of security experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and candidates must be at least 18 years old. The process includes passing a 5-panel drug test and demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sign-On Bonus: BRC offers a $200 sign-on bonus for eligible full and part-time hourly employees. This lump sum is paid upon completion of 60 days of employment. Eligibility requires zero disciplinary actions during the first 60 days and is subject to written approval by the SVP of Human Resources and the Chief Operating Officer. The bonus is forfeited if the employee is terminated for cause or voluntarily resigns prior to the 60-day mark.
