About the Role

The Lunch Monitor at Berry Shoals Elementary plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, orderly, and positive environment during the school day's midday break. This position exists to support the school's mission of fostering student well-being by managing student behavior, facilitating smooth cafeteria flow, and assisting students who need help during meal times.

In this role, you will be the friendly face of the cafeteria, circulating through dining areas to encourage good table manners and assist students as needed. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and staff to maintain a professional atmosphere, communicating effectively with students and the public. Your efforts directly contribute to a structured environment where students can enjoy their meals and socialize safely.
