The Development & Stewardship Coordinator serves as a vital link between Catholic Charities and its community of supporters. In this role, you will ensure donors feel valued while actively supporting successful fundraising and outreach efforts. You will partner with the Senior Director of Development & Outreach to execute stewardship initiatives, manage event logistics, and maintain the administrative operations that drive our mission forward.
This position is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about the organization's strategic goals. You will be responsible for developing donor engagement plans, coordinating acknowledgments, and managing the logistics of fundraising events. Your work will directly contribute to the sustainability of our programs by fostering strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and staff.
You will work in a normal office environment that is often fast-paced, requiring the ability to make decisions quickly and handle crisis situations when they arise. The role may require occasional availability during evenings and weekends, particularly during surge periods, and may involve overtime. While the work is primarily sedentary, it involves physical activities such as prolonged sitting, walking, and the occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds of equipment or supplies. Travel by car or plane may be required for business events or to visit other company locations.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 1–3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM/database systems such as Raiser's Edge or Greater Giving are highly valued. Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills, sensitivity to diverse concerns, and the ability to manage confidential information professionally.
