This role is designed for nurses who want to gain broad clinical experience, sharpen their assessment and communication skills, and work with a variety of teams across the hospital.\n As a member of our Float Pool, you will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed prescribers or the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). You will maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients, coordinating care in conjunction with other departments while strictly maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Your duties will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
In this position, you will rotate through various units, including Med/Surg, Medical Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, CVICU, Oncology, Neurology, Orthopedics, and more. This variety ensures you continue to evolve your nursing journey while contributing to the hospital's mission.
