Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system founded in New Mexico in 1908. As the state's largest private employer, we operate nine hospitals, a statewide health plan, and a growing multi-specialty medical group. Our mission is to improve the health of patients, members, and the communities we serve. With nearly 14,000 employees, including over 4,700 nurses, we are dedicated to providing a dynamic and supportive environment where every team member is valued.
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical-Surgical team at our Albuquerque location. This unit is a vital part of our hospital, offering a setting where LPNs are integral members of the care team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians to provide direct patient care to adults recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or dealing with acute medical conditions. Your focus will be on supporting patient recovery and ensuring a safe, healing environment for those with diverse medical and post-surgical needs.
At Presbyterian, we believe that how you grow, learn, and thrive matters. We offer a comprehensive wellness program designed to support your well-being, including free on-site and community-based gyms, nutrition coaching, mindfulness resources, and wellness challenges. Our commitment to staff safety is evident through initiatives like our wearable safety badge, which allows nurses to discreetly call for help when needed. Additionally, we provide educational and career development options, including tuition and certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, and loan forgiveness through the New Mexico Higher Education Department.
Qualified candidates may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses. To apply, please submit your credentials through our official career portal. We are an AA/EOE/VET/DISABLED employer and a drug-free, tobacco-free organization with smoke-free campuses. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
