About the Role
As a Risk Control Consultant, you will serve as a critical partner to insurance industry clients, ranging from Middle Market to Large Multi-location commercial enterprises. Your primary focus will be scheduling and conducting on-site surveys at diverse locations, including retail businesses, restaurants, hotels, construction sites, manufacturers, schools, and more.
In this role, you will assess risks across various commercial insurance lines, such as Property, General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, Inland Marine, and Builders Risk. You will synthesize your findings into comprehensive risk evaluation and improvement reports. These documents provide the essential data needed to underwrite commercial insurance policies and offer actionable recommendations to enhance safety and reduce liability.
You will manage your own assignments, ensuring you successfully secure customer appointments within your local territory and complete all work on time. The position offers the opportunity to engage in special projects and conduct challenging risk evaluation surveys that leverage your education, professional certifications, and deep expertise in risk control.
Work Environment & Requirements
This is a remote role based from your home or office, requiring regular travel to local commercial business operations. To perform these duties effectively, you must provide your own computer with an image/document scanner, a digital camera or tablet, high-speed internet access, a reliable measuring device (such as a laser, 100 ft. tape, or measuring wheel), and a reliable vehicle with Auto and General Liability Insurance.

Candidates with 10+ years of experience in commercial Property & Casualty Risk Control, preferably with a major insurance carrier or national broker, are encouraged to apply. Requirements
- verified10+ years of experience with a major insurance carrier and/or national broker in commercial Property & Casualty Risk Control

- verifiedCSP or ARM designations preferred
- verifiedCommercial Lines Property/Casualty Loss Control experience
- verifiedCommercial Lines Property/Casualty Underwriting experience
