About the Role
This position offers 100% hospital-based inpatient neurosurgery coverage in an inpatient and acute care setting. You will manage a patient population that is 90% adult and 10% pediatric, with an average of 12-17 patients per mid-level provider per day. The role encompasses admissions, ICU care, and surgical procedures.
Shifts run Monday through Sunday, covering both 6A-6P day shifts and 6P-6A night shifts. While neurosurgery experience and surgical care skills are required, experience in pediatrics, emergency room, or mental health is preferred.
