AgSouth is part of the national Farm Credit System, operating as an agricultural lending cooperative dedicated to serving agriculture and rural communities. About the Role
The Loan Officer serves as a vital link between AgSouth and our customers, building business development strategies and fostering deep relationships within the community. This role is designed for someone who operates with independence and discretion, actively pursuing new individual and business customers while expanding existing relationships by proactively researching customer needs.\n In this position, you will manage a specific portfolio of loans, ensuring timely and sound servicing. Your day-to-day involves evaluating customer management, inspecting collateral, and detecting signs of potential financial problems. You will interview applicants and gather accurate credit data to underwrite sound loans, matching products and services to client needs while adhering to Association policies and overall AgSouth objectives.
