About the Role
This entry-level position serves as a vital support role within the store's liquor department. The primary purpose of the job is to assist the Liquor Manager and Assistant Manager in delivering high-quality products to customers within a clean and friendly environment.
Day in the Life
You will be the face of the department, greeting and thanking every customer you encounter to ensure outstanding service. Your day involves maintaining the visual appeal of the department by merchandising, preparing, conditioning, and stocking products to keep displays full and eye-catching. You will monitor pricing and signage to ensure integrity, reporting any discrepancies to management as needed.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This includes keeping the sales floor, prep areas, and walk-in cooler clean to reduce potential accidents and adhere to company standards. You will also handle physical tasks such as lifting boxes up to 60 lbs, using sharp instruments for food preparation, and moving materials to various workstations.

Applicants for this position are expected to meet specific physical requirements, including the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items, as well as the dexterity to use knives and other sharp instruments. Candidates must possess good corrected vision and hearing and be capable of working on floors that may become slippery.
