Urban Plates started in 2011 in Del Mar, CA, born from a desire to eliminate the compromises often found when eating out. We are a premium fast-casual restaurant chain dedicated to making craveable, wholesome, clean food accessible to all. Our mission is fueled by the power of real food and a passion to change the way the world eats, one plate at a time.

We welcome everyone to our table, where food is cooked from scratch using quality, sustainably grown ingredients that are ethically treated and made to order at honest values. About the Role

The Jr. Sous position is an entry-level leadership development role designed for team members seeking to grow into management. This position is a vital part of our commitment to investing in your growth, offering a rewarding, long-term career path rather than just a job.

You will join a team that values performance and provides industry-leading training to help you excel. As a Jr. Sous, you will assist the management team in delivering excellent food quality and presentation. Your day will involve receiving orders, opening and closing the kitchen, expediting service, assembling take-out orders, and maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of all food-related work areas. You will work in a safe environment where you are empowered and trusted to give your best, with clear feedback provided to ensure you always know where you stand.
