This position serves as a vital link between production planning and the assembly floor. You will be responsible for delegating work to line assemblers and monitoring productivity to ensure the efficient operation of a single assembly line. Your primary goal is to facilitate the delivery of quality products to customers by overseeing daily operations and communicating procedural changes to all personnel.
In this role, you will build master samples (first kits) for jobs, assign assembly stations, and instruct assemblers on proper component placement. You will verify that work orders are executed correctly according to specific assembly and wrapping techniques (PPPF) and ensure that all jobs are received with the correct components from the warehouse. A key part of your day involves verifying daily paperwork for all lots, including DHRs, inserts, carton labels, substitutions, deviations, line clearance forms, ECNs, daily production reports, cleaning logs, and on-hold forms.

The role involves standing for up to 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week, with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. You will also be expected to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on a regular basis.
