About the Role
This position serves as a vital support to Registered Nurses and providers, delivering routine patient care within a primary care setting. The role is designed to ensure efficient clinic operations while maintaining high standards of service and patient safety. You will act as a bridge between patients and licensed providers, handling essential clinical tasks that keep the care flow moving smoothly.
In this role, you will manage a variety of patient interactions, from performing vital signs and wound care to assisting with minor surgical procedures and diagnostic exams. Your day will involve preparing treatment rooms, collecting specimens, and administering medications (excluding IVs) under strict protocols. You will also play a key educational role by reinforcing self-care procedures and ensuring patients understand their treatment plans.
While your home clinic is located in Oceanside, the dynamic nature of operations may require you to float to other North County Primary Care locations. This flexibility ensures that patient care remains consistent across the network, offering you the opportunity to work in diverse environments within the community.
