About the Role
This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position offers a unique opportunity to float across all Behavioral Health Inpatient units, The Link, BHS Urgent Care, and the Behavioral Health Adolescent Addiction Unit. You will practice in a varied, active, and challenging care environment that requires critical thinking and a commitment to quality patient outcomes.
In this role, you will organize and direct aspects of care under the supervision of registered nurses, advanced practice registered nurses, or physicians. Your day-to-day involves conducting focused nursing assessments, collaborating with health care providers to develop patient-centered care plans, and advocating for the best interests of patients. You will work with an average ratio of 1 LPN to 7-8 patients, ensuring safe and effective care while delegating and assigning nursing interventions as needed.
