About the Role

This position is designed to provide professional nursing care, assessment, and evaluations to residents within the scope of practice. You will be an integral part of a team that prioritizes resident well-being, ensuring care is implemented consistently and appropriately. Your day-to-day involves performing licensed practical nursing functions, conducting assessments, and applying the nursing process to plan and evaluate care. You will work closely with Registered Nurses, physicians, and the broader care team to manage medication administration, update care plans, and communicate changes in resident conditions using tools like SBAR. Beyond clinical duties, you will guide staff, assist with new hire orientation, and participate in conflict management, ensuring a supportive environment for both residents and colleagues.
