In this role, you will serve as a vital link in the patient's care team, collaborating frequently with physicians and registered nurses to ensure patient needs are met. Your day involves verifying plans of care, teaching patients and caregivers self-care techniques, and performing specialized procedures. You will be the eyes and ears of the medical team, checking vital signs, reviewing medications, and promptly notifying providers of any changes in patient condition.
