Since 1970, San Diego Youth Services (SDYS) has helped improve the lives of more than 840,000 homeless, runaway, and vulnerable youth. With a staff of approximately 250 employees and 80 volunteers, we provide safe places to live and long-term solutions through shelter, foster homes, community centers, and housing to over 28,000 youth annually across 100+ locations in San Diego County.
Our mission is four-fold: meeting the basic needs of youth, creating positive connections, helping youth develop life skills, and promoting overall health and well-being. We believe that early intervention and care for the whole child are critical to helping youth overcome trauma and challenges. SDYS is a kindness-certified company committed to access, equity, and social justice, recognizing that input from those with direct experience of these issues makes our work more effective.
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Supervisor to join our Quality Management program. This temporary, full-time exempt position runs from July through October, with part-time hours considered for the right candidate. Reporting to the Director of Quality Management, you will provide day-to-day clinical oversight and operations for youth with co-occurring mental health and substance disorders.
In this role, you will be the architect of an integrated treatment approach that adheres to our rigorous standards of quality. Your day will involve providing clinical supervision to program staff, trainees, interns, and volunteers, utilizing methods such as co-therapy, live supervision, and audio/visual reviews. You will coordinate quality assurance and improvement efforts, ensuring documentation standards are met while collaborating with Program Managers and Directors of Service. This position requires flexibility to work across various environments, including home, on the road, and in offices, while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and safe work environment for all.
To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter through the job posting on the SDYS website.
