About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Supervisor to join our Quality Management program. This temporary, full-time exempt position runs from July through October, with part-time hours considered for the right candidate. Reporting to the Director of Quality Management, you will provide day-to-day clinical oversight and operations for youth with co-occurring mental health and substance disorders.
In this role, you will be the architect of an integrated treatment approach that adheres to our rigorous standards of quality. Your day will involve providing clinical supervision to program staff, trainees, interns, and volunteers, utilizing methods such as co-therapy, live supervision, and audio/visual reviews. You will coordinate quality assurance and improvement efforts, ensuring documentation standards are met while collaborating with Program Managers and Directors of Service. This position requires flexibility to work across various environments, including home, on the road, and in offices, while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and safe work environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide individual and group clinical supervision to staff, interns, and volunteers
- check_circleConduct weekly quality assurance and quality improvement reviews of documentation standards
- check_circlePerform record reviews in EHRs and participate in audits and county meetings
- check_circleFacilitate the application, interview, and assignment process for agency trainees and interns
- check_circleTrain and manage volunteers and provide clinical training on approved topics
- check_circleMaintain outreach and collaborations with schools, law enforcement, and other providers
- check_circleMaintain written and statistical reports on program activity and ensure HIPAA compliance
- check_circleDevelop and implement integrated treatment approaches for youth with co-occurring disorders
- check_circleMonitor service delivery, contract administration, and client case progress
Requirements
- verifiedRequired California Clinical licensing (LCSW, MFT, Psych, or LPCC)
- verifiedMinimum of two years post-licensure experience
- verifiedMust have taken minimal CA required supervisor courses
- verifiedCriminal clearance: Child Abuse Index Check
- verifiedMust be able to verify eligibility to work in the United States
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or Psychology. Bilingual skills. Lived experience as a consumer of services. Experience with County of San Diego Behavioral Health Services Medi-Cal documentation standards and Cerner Community Behavioral Health (CCBH) Electronic Health Record (EHR). Experience working in trauma-informed and dual diagnosis programs. Experience with supervision, training, and scheduling of staff, preferably in alcohol and/or drug treatment and/or residential settings. Knowledge of law enforcement, school, and child protective service systems. Management and program development skills. Experience with using Excel for data collection and interpretation, Word, PowerPoint, building and interpreting surveys.
