Inspired by the power of our vibrant, determined community, Amigos de Guadalupe envisions transformational change in East San José. We ensure that the basic needs of our community are met by delivering high-quality programs and mobilizing for justice. Our work spans housing and rental assistance, mental health services, immigration legal services, education, and community organizing that advocates for systems change.
As the Director of Mental Health, you will serve as a compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and culturally aware leader on our executive team. This role exists to enhance our current mental health services and advocate for future initiatives that support individuals and families. You will strengthen community coping skills, improve access to resources, and elevate the quality of life for those we serve.
In this position, you will grow your leadership skills by supporting program development and mentoring social work staff and interns. You will act as a clinical supervisor for complex cases, ensuring our programs remain culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate. Your day will involve bridging the gap between clinical care and community organizing, collaborating across departments, and serving as a liaison with public and private agencies to identify and fill service gaps.
We invite applications from those committed to creating meaningful change. The selection process focuses on finding a leader who embodies our mission and possesses the clinical expertise to guide our team.
Amigos de Guadalupe is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and consider qualified applicants regardless of background. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all team members can thrive.
