About the Role
Instant Teams is seeking a team of Licensed Benefit Advisors to join us during the annual enrollment season. In this position, you will provide customer service assistance to Medicare and Pre-Medicare eligible retirees, helping them navigate complex insurance options and select the appropriate health plans. As a Licensed Benefit Advisor, you will handle all responsibilities from the comfort of your home office, selling and enrolling retirees into insurance products including health, prescription drug, vision, and dental plans.
Your primary focus will be providing Medicare education, conducting needs analyses, and advising Pre-Medicare eligible recipients on their options. The most successful agents maximize their selling opportunities between October 15th and December 7th. While this is a seasonal role, we may offer year-round employment opportunities to high-performing employees if available.
Day in the Life
You will consistently provide a world-class experience at all customer touchpoints. Your day will involve handling inbound customer service calls as well as outbound dialing to warm leads, with the intent of scheduling appointments or completing enrollments based on specific needs. You will actively manage appointments, follow up with prospects, and respond to voicemails within 24 business hours.
Success in this role requires maintaining an active resident health (and life if required) insurance license, passing AHIP and annual carrier certifications, and adhering to call center performance metrics including customer satisfaction, compliance, and sales productivity. You will be expected to read scripts verbatim to ensure compliant and efficient enrollments while articulating complex details in simple terms to customers with varying levels of knowledge.

Successful candidates must complete and pass a background check and credit check prior to their start date. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Additionally, candidates must have no contracting restrictions related to carriers or previous employers; release documents are required if previously sponsored by carriers or other companies.
Work Environment & Location
Because this is a remote work role, you must have a private, dedicated workspace that enables you to work independently and without interruptions. High-speed internet and the ability to hardwire your device are required.
