This position serves as the vital first point of contact for patients at Blanchard Valley Health System, ensuring a seamless and informed experience from the moment they arrive. The role is dedicated to arranging efficient and accurate patient registration while providing exemplary customer service that aligns with the organization's mission and values.
You will act as a liaison between the facility and patients and their families, resolving problems and addressing concerns regarding insurance benefits, hospital policies, and wait time expectations. Whether in the Emergency Department or the discharge office, you will guide patients through financial assistance screenings, explain their financial responsibilities, and facilitate point-of-service collections. This role requires a strong commitment to service excellence and patient satisfaction, ensuring that every interaction is handled with compassion and professionalism.
As part of the Blanchard Valley Health System, you will work collaboratively with every department to ensure a smooth patient journey. The team fosters a positive learning environment where experienced staff provide compassionate mentoring to new hires.
