The College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences (CULLS) is dedicated to honoring diversity, ensuring fairness and access, and creating an environment where all employees are treated respectfully. The Access Services team is the gateway for UNM and community users to access information. Operating across multiple library buildings and online, the team manages circulation, resource sharing, technology lending, course reserves, and collection maintenance. The team is based in three open library facilities on UNM's Central Campus and the high-density repository on the South Campus.
The position is located in Zimmerman Library, the state's largest library and the heart of the university's flagship campus. This 300,000-square-foot building houses over a million volumes, the Center for Southwest Research, and diverse student spaces designed for both individual study and group activity. Founded in 1889, the University of New Mexico sits on the traditional homelands of the Pueblo of Sandia, and the institution acknowledges its committed relationship to Indigenous peoples and the original stewards of the land.

Experience performing a variety of specialized library tasks that require attention to detail and correctly implementing procedures. Experience with customer service including services delivered in person, by phone, email, chat, and/or text. Experience working independently with facilities responsibilities including opening/closing, building oversight, safety protocols, security reporting, and emergency response. Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of specialized software (SpringShare products, ILS products, ILL products). Demonstrated commitment to working effectively and collegially in a team-based environment within a diverse campus community.
