As a Pharmacy Intern, you will be a vital part of our commitment to creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. You will help establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return, while assisting the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals. Embracing our Customer 1st strategy, you will play a key role in encouraging associates to deliver excellent service and demonstrating our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
In this role, you will promote trust and respect among associates and create an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated. You will gain and maintain deep knowledge of pharmaceutical products, competently discussing them with customers and prescribers, and providing drug counseling and over-the-counter medication recommendations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include accurately inputting patient information, dispensing correct medications, processing insurance information, and facilitating charge purchases. You will also support the team by cleaning the department, stocking incoming orders, and reporting any safety risks or incidents to management.
