This position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our member records and ensuring compliance with complex legal and organizational requirements. Working under general supervision, you will process moderately difficult legal documents, verify member information, and ensure adherence to both governmental regulations and UNFCU policies.
You will be the guardian of our compliance standards, reviewing communications regarding deceased memberships, evaluating documents through risk-based analysis, and managing tax certifications. Your work ensures that funds are properly organized and transferred to state agencies during escheatment processes and that member records remain accurate and up-to-date. This role requires a balance of analytical precision and relationship building, as you interpret documents, make sound decisions within your authority, and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
