The Walt Disney Company's ABC Legal News and Regulatory team supports ABC News and the ABC-owned television stations. We are seeking a skilled Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support for the Deputy Chief Counsel and offer administrative assistance to a team of nine news and regulatory attorneys.
In this pivotal role, you will manage administrative tasks to ensure the team's operational efficiency. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, acting as a proactive and detail-oriented partner who effectively prioritizes tasks to keep the legal department running smoothly.
This role is based in New York City. The team currently operates on a hybrid schedule, working four days in the office and one day (Friday) remotely.
The hiring range for this position in NYC is $68,400.00 to $91,700.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity, the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to the base salary, a bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.

Prior experience supporting a news team or news division, specifically with experience in media legal issues. Legal secretarial background, preferably in a large law firm or corporate legal department. Working knowledge of emerging technologies, including AirTable and other AI platforms.
