Our client is a well-established insurance defense firm based in midtown Manhattan. The firm is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Coordinator to join their team in a hybrid capacity, reporting directly to the Firm Administrator.
This role serves as a critical bridge between financial operations and legal practice. You will oversee the firm's billing operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all financial matters. The position involves managing the full spectrum of accounts payable and receivable, from vendor invoices to client payments, while maintaining strict reconciliation of multiple escrow and operating accounts within QuickBooks.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide essential financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Your day-to-day will involve advising attorneys and staff on timekeeping and billing best practices, coordinating bonus and billing data with payroll, and supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
