About the Role
As a Leasing Specialist, you will be the face of our community, responsible for welcoming prospective residents and guiding them toward their new home. This role is vital for driving occupancy and fostering a positive living environment. You will serve as the primary point of contact for prospects, conducting property tours and showcasing available apartments and amenities to highlight the unique lifestyle our community offers.
Your day-to-day involves more than just filling units; you will coordinate marketing initiatives to generate traffic, manage digital platforms like Facebook and Craigslist, and engage in local networking to build the community's presence. You will work closely with the Property Manager to support daily operations, ensuring units are move-in ready and that the leasing office and tour path meet high show standards. By maintaining accurate records and utilizing property management software, you will help streamline the onboarding process, from processing applications to finalizing lease agreements.
Beyond the initial lease, you will play a key role in resident retention by providing excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries, and supporting renewal efforts. Your ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor is essential to ensuring a smooth and satisfying experience for both new and existing residents.
