About the Role
As a Leasing Manager at Lakewood on the Trail, you will serve as the seasoned professional who connects people with their ideal homes. This position is pivotal in driving financial success by developing and executing property-specific occupancy and renewal goals. You will act as a coach and guide for the leasing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and accountability.
In this role, you will manage the daily rhythm of the community, ensuring that marketing tours, model homes, and amenities are presented impeccably. Your day will involve converting inquiries into walk-in traffic, leading enthusiastic tours that embody the "Weidner way," and overseeing the entire application and move-in experience. You will also play a key strategic role by analyzing market trends, negotiating lease renewals to promote retention, and supporting the Community Director with financial performance and reporting.
About the Team
You will be part of a team that looks to you for support, coaching, and guidance on daily and weekly objectives. Success in this position requires a detail-oriented approach and the ability to provide excellent customer service to residents, associates, and vendors. You will exercise independent judgment in marketing and advertising functions while maintaining in-depth knowledge of the community, its residents, and competitor properties.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be willing to undergo a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing. The role requires a valid driver's license, vehicle, and insurance, as well as the ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed.

- check_circleAssist with monthly financial performance reports and revenue management
- check_circleManage and negotiate lease renewals to promote resident retention
- check_circleProvide supervision and direction to the team in the absence of the Community Director
- check_circleDesign and implement plans to improve conversion ratios for leasing associates
- check_circleOversee marketing tour paths and ensure apartments and amenities meet quality standards
- check_circleConvert incoming calls into walk-in traffic and set viewing appointments
- check_circleConduct market analysis and shop competitive properties monthly
- check_circleCoordinate daily activities of the leasing team through People, Product, Price, and Promotion
- check_circleEnsure market-ready apartments and common areas are clean and maintained daily

Requirements
- verified3+ years of leasing experience

Nice to Have
Prior management experience. Experienced in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Yardi and Paycom experience.
