As a Senior Talent Acquisition Expert at Maximus, you will serve as the resident authority on sourcing strategies, driving the identification and engagement of top-tier talent across our federal civilian, health, and defense market segments. This role is pivotal in shaping how we attract cleared and technical professionals, ensuring our teams are equipped to meet complex corporate and proposal requisitions.
You will partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior leadership to deeply understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive hiring plans. Your day-to-day involves executing advanced sourcing strategies to build robust pipelines of both active and passive candidates, with a specific focus on Executive IT positions and specialized government contracting roles. Beyond individual contributor duties, you will lead a team of sourcing recruiters, managing high-priority projects ranging from aging funded requisitions to quick-turnaround proposal efforts.
In this capacity, you will not only manage the full lifecycle of complex recruitment projects but also drive organizational excellence by training the broader recruitment team, disseminating best practices, and evaluating new sourcing tools. Your expertise in open-source intelligence, Boolean searching, and social media sourcing will be instrumental in navigating the unique challenges of the cleared talent market.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a rigorous interview process designed to assess both technical sourcing acumen and leadership capabilities. The journey typically includes an initial screening to discuss experience with federal agencies and executive IT roles, followed by a deep-dive into specific sourcing strategies and past project successes. Final rounds will involve presentations on pipeline development and team fit discussions with senior leadership.
