The Lead Preschool Teacher is a passionate educator who works in a supportive and collegiate environment to make a tangible difference in the lives of young children and their families. This role is the anchor of the classroom, responsible for overall management, lesson planning, safety protocols, and maintaining positive, professional relationships with parents and caregivers.
As a Lead Teacher, you will mentor and coach your teaching team, ensuring that every child experiences a safe, healthy, and rich learning environment. You will guide the team in implementing lessons that spark innate curiosity while adhering to strict developmental and licensing standards. Your day involves fostering positive interactions between children and peers, leading developmental observations, and serving as a daily communication bridge to families regarding their child's milestones.
This position requires a deep commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion, aligning all program practices with FACES values. You will partner with the Family Support and Inclusion teams to address the unique needs of children and families, ensuring that our mission of empowerment is realized in every classroom interaction.
