This position serves as a vital link in our daily operations, functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker while acting in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. You will be instrumental in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs, ensuring the store remains a welcoming and efficient environment for our customers.
In this role, you will provide exemplary customer service, from greeting shoppers at the door to assisting them in locating merchandise. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of responsibilities, including unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, building displays, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store, restrooms, and stockroom. You will also manage the front end, operating cash registers and scanners to process transactions accurately.
When the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable, you will step up to authorize refunds, count registers, make bank deposits, and monitor cash levels and security cameras. This position requires you to follow company policies and procedures to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork while protecting company assets.
