This opportunity resides with Global Security (GS) within Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries. Our Global Security group comprises live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) solutions, fleet sustainment, nuclear and environmental services, and Australia business operations. As a trusted partner to military customers, HII designs, develops, and operates the largest LVC enterprise that prepares warfighters for cross-domain battle. With advanced technologies to enable mission readiness, we understand that preparation requires full coordination—not readiness in piece-parts.
For more than 40 years, the U.S. Navy has entrusted HII to maintain and modernize the vast majority of its fleet. With a holistic approach to life-cycle maritime defense systems—from small watercraft to submarines, surface combatants, and aircraft carriers—HII ensures a high state of readiness. Additionally, we support the Department of Energy's national security mission through the management and operation of its sites, as well as the safe cleanup of legacy waste across the country.
Our team of more than 7,000 professionals worldwide delivers all-domain expertise and advanced technologies in service of mission partners. We are leading the next evolution of national defense—the data evolution—by accelerating a breadth of national security solutions for government and commercial customers.
As the Lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) Specialist, you will provide cybersecurity technical support to the Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN). This role is designed for a candidate who embodies our Leadership Mindset: a culture where leadership is defined by a mindset, not a title. You will commit to learning and supporting team success, build relationships through open communication, and take ownership of delivering on commitments with pride.
In this position, you will serve as a subject matter expert on known and emerging vulnerabilities, providing analysis of exploitation methods, mitigation strategies, and operational considerations. You will work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. The role requires flexibility to work non-standard hours and, when necessary, workweeks exceeding 40 hours to meet business, customer, and contractual needs. A hybrid work schedule may be available for this role.
