The Lead Release Manager serves as the central point of contact for all release activities, overseeing the planning, coordination, and governance of software releases to ensure timely, secure, and compliant deployments. This role is critical for driving continuous improvement in release management practices and enforcing process adherence across the organization.
In this position, you will act as the primary liaison between development and operations teams, coordinating release timelines to ensure alignment across cross-functional groups. You will define and refine release management processes and standards, resolving conflicts and bottlenecks to maintain delivery predictability. A key part of your day involves mentoring application teams on release and change management policies, ensuring all required sign-offs are completed in accordance with change management procedures, and communicating release status, risks, and issues to stakeholders clearly and timely.
