About the Role
The Lead Mechanic serves as a pivotal figure in our Environmental Services operations, overseeing the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial cleaning and environmental service equipment. This includes managing trucks, pumps, and specialized assets used in demanding field conditions. The role exists to guarantee safe, reliable equipment operation while minimizing downtime and extending asset life.
In this position, you will not only diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues but also plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules. A key component of the day-to-day involves mentoring technicians, enforcing safety and environmental procedures, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. You will coordinate closely with operations and asset management to prioritize work orders and support field projects, ensuring adherence to company, client, and regulatory standards.
