The Lead Maintenance Technician is the guardian of the community's physical integrity, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role is pivotal in preserving property value and enhancing resident satisfaction by proactively anticipating, identifying, and resolving issues before they escalate.
Beyond technical expertise, this position serves as a leader within the maintenance team. You will be responsible for training and mentoring maintenance personnel, promoting a "safety-first" culture, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery. Your day will involve balancing hands-on repairs with operational oversight, coordinating vendor work, and managing preventative maintenance schedules to keep the community running smoothly.
