GE Vernova is seeking an experienced and driven engineer to join our global Instrumentation Engineering team. Our platform powers millions of homes and businesses worldwide through cutting-edge gas turbine technology. The team is dedicated to ensuring execution excellence across new unit projects and product applications, driving standardization, quality, and continuous improvement in instrumented systems.
As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you will provide technical ownership and leadership for instrumented systems spanning gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and balance of plant (BOP) fluid systems. This role exists to bridge complex engineering analysis with real-world execution, ensuring robust and integrated design solutions from concept through customer delivery.
In this position, you will act as a key technical interface across mechanical, controls, electrical, systems, and project engineering teams. Your day-to-day involves leading design reviews, resolving complex technical issues related to manufacturing and field operation, and mentoring less experienced engineers. You will drive the resolution of challenges across the entire product lifecycle, from design studies and specifications to commissioning and field service, ensuring that instrumentation solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
