As a Lead HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, you will serve as an expert in the field, ensuring the safe and proper supervision, monitoring, operation, and maintenance of our critical facilities and equipment. This role goes beyond standard mechanics duties; you will act as a liaison between departmental teams, providing oversight on proposed facility modifications, additions, and expansions. Your work is vital to maintaining the hospital's operational integrity and safety standards.
In this position, you will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibration efforts campus-wide. You are expected to foster a safety-focused mindset while delivering exceptional customer service to the hospital community. The role requires guiding team members through complex activities, addressing escalations, and ensuring all building automation system operations comply with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
