Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInstall, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems using refrigeration theory and electrical controls
- check_circleRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications for system work
- check_circleMount compressors, condenser units, evaporators, and associated components
- check_circleCut, bend, solder, and connect refrigerant tubing and piping
- check_circleInstall and test expansion, discharge, and control valves
- check_circleConnect motors, compressors, fans, and control panels to power sources
- check_circleTest systems for pressure, vacuum integrity, and refrigerant leaks
- check_circleRepair or replace electrical components such as breakers, thermostats, switches, and wiring
- check_circleMaintain air handlers, dampers, motors, fans, and control panels in clean, operational condition
- check_circleMonitor and maintain chemical treatment levels in closed-loop systems
- check_circlePerform lubrication and preventative maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory standards
- check_circleEnsure all work areas and equipment remain clean, safe, and debris-free
Requirements
- verifiedHVAC Certification (NATE, ESCO, ICC, Journeyman, or DD214 Level V)
- verifiedEPA 608 Universal Certification
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or GED
- verifiedMinimum 4 years of HVAC trade experience
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedAbility to pass drug screening and background check
- verifiedNACI clearance
- verifiedAll required state, federal, or contract-specific licenses
Nice to Have
2–3 years of experience in healthcare or critical-care facilities
