About the Role
The Lead DSP serves as a vital leadership figure within the group home, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and the well-being of every individual in care. This role is designed to bridge clinical goals with practical living, creating a safe, therapeutic environment where residents can thrive.
In this position, you will be the anchor of the home's daily rhythm. Your day involves orchestrating a structured therapeutic program, managing medication administration with strict adherence to safety protocols, and overseeing the home's physical environment to ensure it remains clean, hazard-free, and fully stocked. Beyond direct care, you will act as a key communicator, coordinating with families, guardians, and medical professionals to support each resident's treatment outcomes. You will also guide the team, providing indirect supervision and training to ensure high standards of care are maintained throughout every shift.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCreate and implement the Structured Therapeutic Program Schedule
- check_circleEnsure dietary guidelines are met and the house is adequately stocked with food and supplies
- check_circleOversee the group home budget for food, supplies, and activities with timely receipt submission
- check_circleReport shift activities and individual health status to incoming staff during clinical meetings
- check_circleReport suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation immediately and cooperate with investigations
- check_circleIndirectly supervise and train employees within the assigned group home
- check_circleDocument all daily activities, treatment progress, and medication administration on approved forms
- check_circleOversee daily cleaning, housekeeping, and restocking of supplies with proper documentation
- check_circleResolve or repair damaged company property and submit maintenance requests when necessary
- check_circleFacilitate medical appointments and follow-ups as needed for individuals
- check_circleImplement Individual Service Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans for all individuals served
- check_circleEnsure proper staff coverage ratios are maintained prior to leaving the program
