As a Janitorial Night Lead, you will serve as a vital link between our operational team and our frontline staff. In this role, you are responsible for the daily maintenance of facilities, ensuring that our services meet the rigorous specifications and established standards of our clients. You will lead and coordinate activities across multiple work sites, assigning duties, inspecting work, and investigating any complaints regarding janitorial services to take immediate corrective action.
Your day involves more than just oversight; you will train new employees, fill in for call-outs, and conduct regular quality inspections to ensure timely delivery of services. You will also manage administrative duties, including timekeeping, performance documentation, and inventory management. This position requires the ability to work independently in a medical environment and to coach staff to resolve production and personnel problems, fostering a culture of long-term retention and safety.
Candidates selected for this role must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. A pre-employment criminal background check is required. While the ability to speak English is mandatory for safety reasons, bilingualism in two or more languages (with English being one) is preferred. Applicants should be prepared to work a shift from 6 PM to 10 PM, with potential flexibility for operational needs and some weekend work.
