As the Lead Bartender, you will be the creative force and operational anchor of our bar team. Your mission is to elevate the guest experience by crafting exceptional specialty cocktails, curating local craft beer and wine selections, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will not only mix drinks but also lead the development of our beverage programs, ensuring every pour meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.
In this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced, upscale dining and bar atmosphere. Your day will involve training staff on proper mixing techniques, overseeing quality control for all recipes, and managing inventory to maintain optimal par levels. You will interact directly with patrons to assess their preferences, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure their satisfaction from the moment they order until they leave. Beyond the bar, you will embody a strong work ethic by maintaining a pristine environment, handling cash and credit transactions with precision, and adhering to all federal, state, and local food and beverage regulations.
This position requires the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment that may include hot and cold temperatures, as well as unlevel or slippery surfaces. You will be expected to stand and walk for prolonged periods, perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs, and maintain high energy levels to handle multiple functions simultaneously. Flexibility is key, as the role requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
