About the Role
As a Bartender, you will be the heart of our bar, responsible for crafting frozen daiquiris, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages for our guests. Your role goes beyond mixing drinks; you are the face of our hospitality, providing prompt, friendly service while maintaining a clean and orderly bar area. You will engage with patrons seated at the bar or those served by our waitstaff, offering samples and thoughtful suggestions to enhance their experience.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a dynamic blend of customer interaction and operational precision. You will present our menu, answer questions, and guide guests through their drink choices. From inputting orders into the POS system to slicing fresh fruit for garnishes, every detail matters. You will prepare drinks to order, manage payments, and ensure the bar is reset and ready for the next guest. Occasionally, you will step into the role of a barback, assisting with machine refills and deep cleaning to keep the entire bar running smoothly.
Work Environment
This position requires working in a vibrant environment that can be both warm and cool, indoors and outdoors. You will be exposed to the sights and sounds of a busy bar, including music and customer traffic, as well as various food and beverage ingredients, mixing devices, and cleaning products. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers. A positive attitude and strong work ethic that align with our values are essential. You must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize in a fast-paced setting. Additionally, a valid certification for serving alcohol is required.
Application Requirements
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role. We are looking for individuals who can commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
