About the Role

Lake Doctors, Inc. is seeking a motivated Technician to treat and maintain lakes, ponds, and other bodies of water for a variety of customers in the Southwest Florida area. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working independently outdoors, take pride in their work, and possess strong communication skills to interact with homeowners, management companies, and property owners.

As a full-time team member, you will serve as the face of the company in the community, presenting a positive and professional image while growing the business. The position involves a dynamic day-to-day routine, ranging from operating boats and all-terrain vehicles to performing water testing, stocking fish, and managing vegetation and algae at established accounts. You will work a standard 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Training and Development

We offer an excellent 90-day training program designed to prepare you for the required State test for certification in Aquatics. On-the-job training is provided for maintaining customer records within our service software system, ensuring you are fully equipped to handle your duties from day one.

Hiring Process

Candidates must possess a valid, clean driver's license, as the role involves operating various motor vehicles and equipment. Please note that our insurance company must accept you as an insured prior to employment. The hiring process includes background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screening. Reliable transportation to the Ft. Myers office is required.
