About the Role

This position supports our operations in an outdoor environment, requiring adaptability to variable weather conditions, temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, smells, and loud noises. The role is essential for maintaining site safety and efficiency, serving as a bridge between drivers, equipment operators, and management.

You will be the eyes and ears on the ground, performing general construction activities such as shoveling, lifting, and pulling. A key part of your day involves managing traffic control—guiding vehicles and equipment to appropriate areas and placing signs and cones for direction. You will also ensure the site remains operational and clean by performing site clean-ups, cleaning vehicles and equipment as needed, and setting up or securing wind fences and landfill coverings.

Communication is vital in this role; you will coordinate effectively with drivers, employees, and management via handheld radios and CBs. Additionally, you may be responsible for fueling vehicles and equipment and transporting employees to their workstations as required. Adherence to OSHA safety standards and the consistent use of required PPE are non-negotiable aspects of daily operations.
