About the Role
This position supports our operations by ensuring site safety, efficiency, and cleanliness. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground, guiding vehicles and equipment to appropriate areas and maintaining a secure work environment. The role involves active participation in general construction activities, site clean-up, and the setup of wind fences and landfill coverings. Effective communication with drivers, employees, and management via handheld radios and CBs is essential to coordinate daily workflows.
You will work in an outdoor environment, adapting to variable weather conditions, temperatures, and the typical sights and sounds of a waste management facility. This role is vital to maintaining the high standards of safety and operational excellence that define IWS.
