About the Role
The Operations/Laboratory Technician serves as a critical link between plant operations and laboratory analysis, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of the facility. This role involves a dynamic blend of monitoring plant equipment, conducting chemical analyses, and performing light maintenance activities. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to uphold rigorous standards for safety, environmental compliance, and quality.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and preparing samples, making necessary adjustments to operating equipment, and maintaining detailed records. You will actively participate in daily operations meetings to communicate on key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate corrective actions for any process, safety, or environmental deficiencies. The role requires a high degree of adaptability, with the ability to cross-train across all areas of the facility and work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and callouts.
