Join our team in Hilo, HI, as a key contributor to the patient care process. In this role, you will ensure laboratory specimens are appropriately collected (including phlebotomy), processed, prepared, routed, and stored. You will work within a laboratory environment, recognizing when corrective action is needed and implementing effective solutions to maintain high standards.
This position champions safety, compliance, and quality control while navigating biological hazards and adhering to strict PPE requirements. You will have routine access to protected health information (PHI), requiring you to maintain strict confidentiality and abide by all applicable privacy and security standards. You will be trained on reasonable safeguards and expected to access PHI only when necessary to fulfill your job duties.
