About the Role
The QA (Lab) Technician is the guardian of quality at our manufacturing site. In this role, you will analyze and monitor the progress and quality of chemical processes, ensuring that every product released meets our rigorous standards. Your work is critical to the safety and efficacy of our solutions, as you will be responsible for testing utility water, qualifying incoming raw materials, and evaluating finished products prior to shipment.
Your day will involve performing quality testing for production batches, distillations, and utility water, as well as testing raw materials and finished goods. You will maintain analytical reagents, ensure all tests are conducted using approved methods, and keep detailed records of results. Safety is paramount; you will ensure that laboratory safety guidelines are followed, chemicals are properly labeled and stored, and the lab area remains clean. Additionally, you will weigh tank trucks, inspect certificates of analysis, complete necessary paperwork, and document laboratory samples received from customers.
