This position is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of kitchen safety, sanitation, food handling, and inventory management. Working under the supervision of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, the role ensures that all culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently.
You will arrive at your scheduled time, fully uniformed and ready to execute daily production tasks. Your focus will be on preparing food to proper doneness and seasoning, strictly adhering to standard recipes and menu specifications. You will manage the serving line, ensuring special items are produced in the correct quantities to minimize waste.
A significant portion of your day involves maintaining a pristine environment. This includes keeping your station, coolers, and equipment clean and organized, while ensuring all items are properly wrapped, dated, labeled, and stored. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, prioritizing immediate needs and offering or seeking help to maintain seamless teamwork.
